Bring Predictiv into your AI assistant
Your buyer data, available wherever you already work. Connect Predictiv to Claude or ChatGPT once, then ask for the accounts and people you want the way you would ask a colleague — and get the answer back in the conversation.

Overview
AI assistants are good at writing and reasoning, but they can only work with what they can reach. On their own they have no view of your market, your accounts or your buyers. Predictiv closes that gap.
What MCP is
MCP, short for Model Context Protocol, is an open standard for connecting an AI assistant to an outside system. It works like a secure doorway: your assistant passes a question through it, Predictiv answers with real data, and the assistant uses that answer in its reply. Because the standard is shared, the same Predictiv connection works in Claude, ChatGPT and any other assistant that supports it.
Predictiv hosts its side of that connection for you. There is nothing to install, nothing to keep running, and no software for your IT team to approve — you add an address in your assistant's settings and sign in with your Predictiv account.
What you can do once it is connected
- Find people and companies by role, industry, size and location
- See how large a segment is before you commit to it
- Reveal verified emails and phone numbers for the contacts you choose
- Draft outreach from the same list, in the same conversation
The connection is read-only. Nothing in your Predictiv account is changed, and your assistant only sees what your own login can see.
Connect
Setup takes about two minutes and you only do it once. Pick your assistant below.
- Click your name in the bottom-left corner of Claude, then open Settings.
- Go to Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it
Predictivand paste the server address above into the URL field. - If an advanced or OAuth section asks for a client ID, enter
predictiv-mcp. Leave any client secret field empty. - Click Add, then Connect. A Predictiv sign-in window opens.
- Sign in with your usual Predictiv email and password, then approve access.
Start a new chat and you will see Predictiv in the tools menu. To check it works, ask: Using Predictiv, how many marketing directors are at software companies in California?
In ChatGPT, Predictiv is added as a plugin. Plugins need a paid plan, and the menu names vary a little between plans.
- Open Settings from your profile menu.
- Go to Plugins, shown on some plans as Apps & Connectors.
- Choose to add a plugin, then pick the option for a custom or remote MCP plugin.
- Name it
Predictivand paste the server address above into the URL field. - Choose OAuth for authentication and enter
predictiv-mcpas the client ID. Leave the client secret and any API key field empty. - Save, click Connect, sign in to Predictiv and approve access.
Enable the Predictiv plugin from the tools menu before your first question in a new chat.
Predictiv works with any assistant that supports remote MCP connections, including Microsoft Copilot, Cursor and similar tools. Look for a connectors, plugins or integrations screen, add a custom entry, and paste the server address above. Use predictiv-mcp if a client ID is requested, and choose sign-in rather than an API key.
Your Predictiv account works the same way in every assistant.
How to ask
The more specific the request, the better the list. Four habits cover most of it.
Name the role, the company type and the place
“Find some sales people” is too vague to work with. “Find sales directors at manufacturing companies in Texas with over 500 staff” gives you a usable list first time.
Ask for a sample before the whole list
Say “show me ten first”. You can check the segment is right before revealing anyone.
Narrow a company name that matches too widely
If results look unrelated, add the industry, country or website address to the request.
Refine in conversation
“Now only the ones in the Bay Area”, “drop anyone below director level”, “add companies up to 2,000 staff” — all of these narrow the same list rather than starting again.
Try these
These are the requests that pay off most. Each one is a conversation starter — expect to refine the result once or twice before you reveal anyone.
Build a target list from your ICP
Using Predictiv, find VP and Director-level engineering leaders at software companies in the US with 200 to 1,000 employees. Show me ten, plus the total, before we go further.
The everyday one. Describe the segment in your own words and let the assistant translate it.Map a full buying committee
I’m running a campaign on cloud security into Salesforce. Show me everyone likely to sit on that decision — security, IT infrastructure and procurement — grouped by seniority, so I can see who signs and who influences.
One contact is rarely enough. This is the shape of an account you can actually run a play against.Check you are targeting the right titles
Before I build this list: what job titles actually own marketing automation at mid-market US companies? Show me the roles and seniority levels available, then we’ll pick the ones to target.
Titles vary by company. Worth two minutes here before committing a campaign to the wrong persona.Find more companies like your best customers
Look up Red Hat and Coupa — industry, size, location — work out what they have in common, then find 25 similar US companies I’m not already working with.
Expand the list beyond the accounts your team already knows about.Put names to accounts you already have
Here are twelve accounts from my CRM. For each one, find the most senior demand generation person, confirm the title, and get me their email.
Paste the list straight into the chat. Good for filling gaps before a campaign or a field event.Turn the list into outreach
Take those five contacts and draft a short intro email for each — reference what their company does and keep it under 120 words.
The research and the writing happen in one place, so nothing gets copied between tools.About the data
You are working with the same Predictiv data you see in the app, sourced from public records and compliant partnerships, and covering professional details only.
Revealed emails carry a confidence level: some are confirmed, others are our best estimate from the company’s usual format. Records also show when they were last updated, which is worth a glance for senior roles that may have changed hands.
Contact details are returned in small batches, so a large request works through with short pauses rather than all at once. If it looks like it has stopped, it is usually waiting.
Questions
Predictiv isn’t showing up in my chat
Start a new conversation after connecting, then switch Predictiv on in the tools menu. Naming it in your first message helps too: “Using Predictiv, find…”.
It says it can’t find anything
Usually the job title or industry wording is unusual. Ask your assistant to list the categories available for that field and pick from those, or widen the location.
It’s asking me for an API key
It shouldn’t be. Leave that field empty and use the sign-in flow. If a key is required, the wrong type of connector was added — remove it and start again.
It asked me to sign in again
Normal. Approve the sign-in and carry on. You can disconnect at any time from the same Connectors screen without affecting your Predictiv account.
Can my whole team use it?
Yes. Each person connects with their own Predictiv login, and everyone sees the data their own account allows.
Is my data safe?
The connection is read-only, encrypted, and removable at any time. Predictiv never receives your chat history.
Need a hand
Contact your account manager or email support@predictivdata.com with the assistant you are using and what you asked, and we will take a look.
